Muncaster - Castle, Gardens and Owl Sanctuary

Muncaster is a great family day out in a great location on Cumbria's west coast.

There are over 70 acres over grounds, particularly attractive in the spring when the Rhododendrons are in bloom and in the summer, on most days at 2.30 there are displays of owls flying. A portion of the entry fee goes towards the World Owl Trust. Later in the afternoon at 4.30pm is heron feeding time.
