Water Skiing in Cumbria

All the lakes within the Lake District that allow motorboats, now have a 10mph speed limit. Whilst the introduction of this limit at Windermere may have deterred the experienced skiier, Windermere is still ideal for the beginner or novice to learn or enhance their skills.

Low Wood
at Windermere is the Lake District's only remaining waterski centre. They can provide double-wide skis, wakeboards, kneeboards and wake surfers. Mastercraft ski boats and the latest equipment is used to introduce you to this great sport. They are a British Waterski Federation affiliated club and are Locally Authority inspected and licensed.Water Skiing

A ½ hour water ski lesson at Low Wood starts at £39.

Low wood can be contacted at (015394) 39441.
