Diving In Cumbria's Lake District

Diving is allowed under certain conditions at a number of lakes.

Windermere
Permitted but groups need to get permission from the warden.

Wastwater
Permission must be obtained from National trust. No powered boats allowed.

Coniston
'A' flag to be displayed. Boats no more than 4hp

Ullswater
No permission required. Boats limited to 4hp

Grasmere
Permission required from National Trust

Crummock
Permission from National Trust. No motorised boats or air compressors allowed.
